"Lust" she opened her eyes, allowing them to adjust to the light in the room. As she looked around she realized, she had returned...
"Lust, look at me" That familiar voice said. She squinted her eyes and tried to make out the face, as he stepped from the shadows she recognized him. Lust smiled at first and then, a look of confusion. "Did I not leave this Realm Prophet"? "You did indeed Lust". Lord Mordain spoke softly. "You have been summoned back. Malas is at hand and you have much to learn."
She looked around once again, she was back in the Temple, where her rest had begun. "I don't understand Prophet, why have I been summoned?" He smiled once again and stretched out his hand as he whispered a few words she could not comprehend, the room grew dark and a small light formed in the palm of his hand. As she watched, it grew and she recognized the land of Sosaria however, there was a new area...she had not seen before. "What is this ?" she asked. "This will be a new land Lust, The Temple has plans for this area and we have need of thee."
As the Prophet spoke she watched the lands forming before her eyes. She saw a great Temple and many outposts surrounding it, all forming one large outpost. The will of the Prophet was done, and done very well. He closed his hand and the vision was gone.
She stood for a moment, taking all this news in...and then the pain of her past came upon her. The memories she tried to escape had found her. She turned from the Prophet and walked the floor, gazing at the tapestries hanging high on the stone walls. This Realm had held more sorrow than she cared to remember...she had no desire to be here. As she turned she caught a glimpse of her reflection for the first time in a small mirror on the wall. She gasped as she approached the reflective glass. Her skin was as white as snow and her hair a white tangled mess. Her eyes were a jade green and her lips the deepest red. "What has happened to me ?" she choked out the words..."Your body has long since decayed Lust. This vessel was sufficient to bring you back...however, the effects of the passage from the Gem will forever remain, hence the white skin and your darkened eyes."
She lowered her head and sighed deeply. "Lust, think not on the things of the past...the future is indeed promising for you young one." he said. "We have much work to do...your home is here now, with the Temple." She exhaled deeply and turned to Lord Mordain. "Prophet, I will join you and the Temple and see your vision for Malas come to pass. I ask one thing of you..." he nodded. "What is it ?" She thought for a moment and then whispered "Teach me the ways of the Temple." he smiled and nodded once again. "Follow me Istamie, I will certainly teach you."
The Prophet opened a portal and stepped through. She stood for a moment as her mind sifted through her memories. She shook her head to clear them, "that time is over.." she whispered to herself. She exhaled once more, that old determination returning. She stepped through the gate, leaving her memories behind.....
