We stand on the brink of important decisions. Decisions only you as citizens can make.
Last night shock and outrage spread through the council chambers when Grand Marshall Nero and High Justicar Edguardo requested that I turn myself in for a military tribunal on the accusations of insubordination while a military leader and obstruction of justice by aiding in the harboring of Draco.
These charges and adding me to the most wanted list come at a time that is, well, ridiculous and fool hearted. Charges that are blatantly false. The Shadow Collective runs rampant, raiding towns and by the most recent orders by our Grand Marshall he has effectively eliminated the defense of the cities except for the Highland Guard.
Who defended the cities when the raids started? Who takes time to listen to your concerns and seek a peaceful end to the situation? It is most certainly not those that currently hold power in the military or high court. The Order sits, and still sits, sidelined by their own unwillingness to over come the magical barriers that everyone else has managed to overcome since the time of change. And their grand marshall and leader chooses to go after individuals and not fight the Collective.
The wants and needs of a few outweigh the needs and good of the many. That the Grand Marshall wants to arrest those that were doing his job when he vanished for a few months then miraculously returned seems ridiculous. He arrests those who defend the innocents in the streets, who fight for freedom from the collective. He arrests those that oppose his tyranny. Tyranny that he calls "serving justice". He only sees what his needs are and not the needs of everyone.
Who is going to cause more harm? One criminal (Draco) or the whole of the collective? The enemy of my enemy is my enemy too seems to be Nero's stance. Most of the Order of the Blackrose is under warrants for Arrest. I am under warrant for arrest, preventing the defense of Trinsic.
Citizens you have a voice. Make it be heard. Tell them what you want. The government is here to serve the people, but all it has been serving is their own wants and needs. Tell them what you want done. Let your voice be heard.

Lilly Thann.
